I know this is a long shot and asking a lot, but it's worth a shot. I am looking to purchase a small whitewater kayak from a guy in Asheville, NC. I was wondering if any of you might be passing through there over the holidays and ultimately headed down to Texas? It's a Liquid Logic Remix XP9. My buddy needs it to run the Devils with me in the spring. The drop down skeg is great for the miles of flat water we have to cover between rapids/falls. We have play boats and Creek/River runners, Jacksons, Riots, Pyranha's, etc. but nothing with a skeg to keep it tracking better on the open sections. I have an older Remix XP10, just need to get him covered as well. I appreciate the offer to hold it, I'll consider it should I find a way to get up that way in the next few months.
Funny, mine is a hybrid too. Hope you can get it much sooner but just let me know if I can be a help. Also, if you're on FB - check out WNC gear swap. Originally for used boats & gear - worth browsing if you're already making an AVL purchase.
