Sweet trip. Most chill offroad trip in a long time. Hales and me had fun, I hope you guys did too. As always Chuck D made me laugh til my sides hurt, Chuck I'll let ya know when I pick up that bender and you can test out if ya want .. Steve I hope ya like the new roof rack Antena Hope you guys made it back safe...

1 trip to Ocala=1 broken windshield, few more dents, 6,003 pin strips, a good time hanging out with cruiserheads...


we all need to figure out where we can set up camp at GSMTR together.. I know trail 5 might be closed off but I'm sure we can find somewhere else...

Nice trip. Al, Thanks for the 'new' antenna. My truck looks complete now.
I unloaded my truck & rack, cleaned, washed and de pinstripped it today and never noticed the antenna. Terri walks right up and asks what the antenna is for.

oh yeah, good ride for FL considering its a big sand bar. Good to see everyone. I will be back for next year's event for sure. Sorry I missed the infamous last trail that caused so much damage! The last trail ("short cut to eureka") I was wanting to do eventually dead-ended so those who headed home did the right thing. We went to the pit and a few guys were getting stuck and winching and putting on a show. Good times. Afterwards everyone retreated to their warm trucks and I added a final layer of clothing for the 5-6 hr ride home. We took the same 50 mile forest trail back toward o-town and caught the moon rise. Superb.
Jerry, thanks for tipping us off to the cool bluff trail. I was the best.
Frank and Bret, sorry you couldn't make it. (you would have loved the tight bluff trail... lol)

Al, cool deal on the bender. I think some of the West Palm cruisers are making another cage soon so maybe we can get some tips from that

It's too bad we didn't hook up on any runs, but at least I have some faces to associate with names now .

It was a pretty chill trip and much different than the crazy alpha pit trails. It was nice to do something different, thanks for the hot chocolate steve. Chuck D you are a great person to have on the trails, thanks for being trail leader. too bad we missed out on the night run, but it was nice to have the invite, thanks to Brain... BTW sweet 4runner.
Thanks for bringing me with Alex much love !!

85runner, we'll definately catch you in the future. Cool to meet you guys as well. I guess you were off on a night run when we went trolling the camp grounds looking for ya. almost forgot about the neighbors fri night...jeepers are fun, at night they brawl around the campsites and by day hydroslide behind trucks We should devote more effort to following the pack next time for amusement.

sounds like i missed out... Chuck should work for the park service he knows that forest inside out.. best guy to have trailing with you anywhere in the forest.. I was all ready to go on saturday morning when my truck took a dump on me.. she wouldnt start and my mater cylinder went to hell can go anywhere with no brakes.. anyways i got her up and running.. running 2WD(disconnected the front drive shaft) my truck is stuck in locked mode, my center differential is locked and i cant seem to unlock it.. in the process of trying to fix it.. any local fellow cruisereheads wanna help let me know i can sure use it..

Frank, too bad your rig broke down. Take a look at the archives and then give me a buzz. We might be able to fix/break it together. Soggy, were there a lot of people there Saturday eve and sunday? Wish I would have stayed.
