I'm in the middle of setting up the motor/tranny mounts in the frame before powder coat. I've looked for some pictures of similar setups that might be helpful. FWIW, tranny is a 4L60e.

TIA,

Tony

Here are some photos of the Advanced Adaptors small block Chevy motor mounts on my 350.

Be aware that the fit to the stock steering box is very tight with headers and some cast iron exhaust manifolds:

Side view. Note that there is very little clearance between the top of the air cleaner and the hood join seam. This is a tradeoff when using taller than factory intake manifolds along with the Advanced Adaptors motor mounts providing enough clearance between the engine and the axle, and the transmission tunnel top.

HEI clearance is 3-1/4" to the indented portion of the firewall. The rear of the block is approximately 4-1/2" to the indented portion of the firewall.

The back of the head to the main (unindented) firewall is 2". Note the tight clearance to the heater hose connections at the upper middle of the photo.

I'm running a standard v-belt setup, with a flex fan and a 2" spacer. There is adequate clearance to the radiator. It is possible to run a 1" spacer and move the engine 1" forward, but that's getting tight. I don't know if you could get away with that using a serpentine belt, or with multiple belts. There's less w"wiggle room" than you'd think with a small block Chevy without cutting the firewalls.
