if the truck is half decent it would be a shame to part it out. As a club we could use another 80 out there.

Impreza, you bought an 80 with a blown engine, that's the truck that should be parted out. It will be damn hard to repair that puppy and not end up in a financial hole afterward.

I've thought of this but if I can come through with an inexpensive motor, then I should be okay. The rest of the truck, including the underside, is in pretty darn decent shape.



They are all money pits one way or another. If push comes to shove, I'll take my unlocked truck motor and put it in my locked one and part that one instead.
