anybody going to Chehalis and are they gonna let us up there

HI! there just curious if anybody is going up to chehalis this weekend .i'm trying to talk the wife and kids into an overnighter up there and was wondering what it is like at the end of the lake . and does anybody know if they will be blocking off the road because of forest fires or threat of one. went up there a few years ago or so only to be turned around by a road block and forest fires. the fire marshal or whatever he was wouldn't let anybody past .

No roadblocks, but apparently we got up early enough to miss the RCMP stopping people at the Weaver hatchery and confiscating booze.

Went up on Fri. as far as the camp site at the tail end of the lake , turn off was mile 13, now marked as km 21.
There is a gate at the split for the camp site/ boat launch but somebody blazed a trail just before it.
The boat launch isn't accessible but the campsite is.
They have dug trenches across the road every so often but nothing over about 2' deep.
The campsite is still a mess of logs and stumps but no one else camping up there.
While we were there some fellas on quads came over from inch creak but i don't know if you can get a truck through.
There was some one camping up the lake a ways but i can't say how far the road is clear.
