Any tricks for greasing the front drive shaft?

First time service on the new to me 2008. Wondering about how best to access the front driveline so as to grease it. Seems like the aft ujoint sits right over a cross member that makes it a challenge to get a grease gun on.

Any tricks?

You will have to clock the drive shaft to get the zero fitting on your grease gun to work. I’ve used a needle that fits on the grease gun. The needle goes into the zero fitting Ball. It’s a little easier than a normal grease gun. Good luck . It is a PITA.
