yeah, that one peaked my interest. we traded one email. i asked for more pics. no response for at least a week. then out of the blue he replies that its still for sale, but no new pics. i replied to him and then silence.
 
sounds a little scary sitting so long. they mentioned the 80 roy farr has at $6900. not sure if that was a type-o. i'd be all in at $6900. he has yet to reply to my PM or email.

This was in Demopolis as I was driving to Jackson this evening...
Needs a front end rebuild as the knucks are weeping, no lockers, not dolled up so all the imperfections are showing... but was parked in a grocery store lot with other cars so the seller might come off the price a little... over-all decently clean rig...

thanks for stopping to shoot the pic. roy pm'd me back and said that the head gasket would be covered under his warranty. he didn't mention any other specifics.
 
should i be worried about how much the dropped the price over the last week.
 
yes.
but you know regardless of price that things will immediatley need to be done anyway so the cheaper the better.

This is my speed right here...
If i had 3000 cash I wad it up in my pcoket and show up at this persons house and test drive this thing and be nice about it but then politely pick it apart...
-What up with the idle? I'm not certified... better have someone fix it... $500
-Needs paint job and hood alone costs $500, whole truck over $1000
-Needs HG done and that's $1400 from a good mechanic
-Needs Front axle rebuild... another $1000
- Seats are all hard (they all are)
- On and on and on...

Pull out the $3000 and throw it to the sky (make it rain)

That's how you get an 80 for the right price...

i just checked, san diego lx450 sold.

right now the unlocked CE at clayton volvo in knoxville looks like its been sold.

i also found this one...1995 Toyota Land Cruiser 4WD

and this one....1997 Toyota Land Cruiser
its unlocked but has some nice PM stuff. still seems too high.

btw, i'm still amazed that the guys on 31 keep re-listing their 97 for 12K.
