Any interest in a oem 80 series subtank ?

I have found a 80 series in Europe with an oem secondary fuel tank.There is a big chance as is right now that I will be buying it and take out engine and tranny to bring to the US and a few other parts.

Is the secondary fuel tank still wanted in the US and if I bring the tank itself,filler neck,switch and overhead console what would it be worth here?

I am running out of time so I am not stripping all the wiring out of this cruiser because that is just not possible,I am taking out what I need/want and selling the leftovers to someone in Europe.

About the "few other parts"...any chance you can collect the Aux. Cooling Fan and bring it to the USA..? I need one.
 
I had this set up for sale for 2 mo. before it sold $450 (with out over head console)

Incomplete always seems to be a kicker with these but thanks for the info.

Guess it will depend on how badly I am running out of time when taking engine and tranny out.

Btw this one is part time 4wd !
 
The main tank from one with the sub tank would be nice to have as it makes it easier to link the two tanks, I have the sub tank already and yes 800 to 1200 shipped seems to be the going rate on these. Is the part time transfer case something that would be available? Also do those have the center differential still?

No idea if the have the center diff lock or not.That will be sold as a combo with the 1HZ unless someone makes me an offer I can't refuse to separate it.

I am planning on pulling both tanks.

There is no differential in the parttime transfer case, so no centre diff lock.
You have the options of either 2wd Hi, 2wd Lo, 4wd Hi, 4wd Lo. engaging 4wd locks the front and rear outputs of the transfer case.

How often do you get over to Europe? Or do you do most of this over the Internet?

There are some people interested in it but no one has commited to it.

I go about 3 times a year to Europe but dual fuel tanks is a rarity there.
