Any ideas why Mr. Toyota put these holes in the floor of the bed? The only things under there is front bed mount and the front side steps

I have to ask why you think Toyota put those holes there? It doesn't look like factory holes to me.

Have you looked in the shop manual for your truck? Perhaps the answer lies there.

quick attachment point for a rocket launcher........heck I dunno

Im presuiming that is a top down view of the right side bed (with the wheel well in the pic)In troopies, that location is for the aux heater if so equipped, however there is not such a large hole, more of mounting bolts and heater hose holes. I cannot see this being useful in an open bed. Agreed with shop manual has insight, as thats how i learned about the aux heater.

I cant even work out what I'm looking at. Got a better pic? Whats that square hole?
If that's the real wheel arch to the right of the pic, that has to be the left hand side?

<turns laptop upside down> oh yea, that could be the left hand side. I have no idea what that could be then

Myth......Busted. 75 tray vs 79 tray. It fits.

Left hand is from when you are sitting in the drivers seat looking forward.

Is there a spare tyre option that would go there, a jerry can bracket?

I was thinking maybe the spare tyre can go there when a cab chassis has the side facing seats installed. I know it was a long shot;)

Parts manual is describing the cover as "COVER, FRONT FLOOR CORNER". Nothing else.

These are also in the 45 series pick up tubs and would make a good place to mount dual batteries or maybe put some heavy boxes with lockable lids to stash tools and your weapon and ammo when your not carrying. :)
