I found this on the Cruiser today and it looks as though it should be attached to something. The thing runs, starts and seems to be fine but I don't like finding stuff like this as it should go somewhere I am pretty sure. It runs from the battery and y's off kind of through the coil, I don't see anything apparent that it should go to. Thanks for any help

What the heck? Doesn't look familiar at all. I'm guessing it's an add on circuit, for who knows what, by the PO.

It looks like the oil sender wire. There should be a gold colored oil sender down by the oil filter somewhere with a tab and/or a little round knob on top. That wire's supposed to clip to the little round knob on the top, NOT THE TAB!!! (Don't ask me how I know!)

check it

Does your oil pres. gauge work?BINGO you found were it should go now.unless there is a mechanical gauge hooked up that goes to your oil pres. sending unit.

John :D

P.S i forgot to officially welcome you to mud, :flipoff2::cheers:

Thanks guys I have an answer, I have a mechanical oil pressure gauge. Thanks for all the replies. I am partial to the color also.

What about that hose behind it?

This is a great pic because it shows the hose to nowhere. Behind the part behind held, there is a hose sticking straight up. Where is that supposed to go? My 60 has always had that random hose to nowhere. I've always wondered about it.

Nevermind. That's not a hose, its the wire wrapping. Anyway, i have a hose to nowhere right were that wire wrapping is in the picture.

Is it a hose or your dip stick tube...better check your trans fluid level ?
