Whatcha looking to do? What type of servicing do you need? (that sounds a bit awkward when you read it.... ).

Hang around this board a bit...you will learn alot. And soon you will prefer to do it yourself. These trucks are pretty simple, and I'm a 1  guy. ;)

If you consider Ann Arbor as "Detroit Area", then I highly recommend
J.A.P. (yep, I s*** you not-- in fact your screen name helped me recall their name)
Japanese Auto Professional Svc
563 S Main St
Ann Arbor, MI
Phone: (734) 996-4606

They are a rare breed of auto repair shop-- small, personable, honest and hard-working (and not expensive). At least they were through 2002.

Stay away from the Ann Arbor Toyota dealership, you will get jacked over good. Again, information good as of 2002-- hopefully the owner or head manager got axed and some real management came in. I recall another Toyota dealership was going up on the West side of town about that time, don't know if it was same owner/crap, different hole, or actual competition responding to a need.

Good luck, take your 80 to the Mounds in Flint some time, I guarantee you'll get a reaction.

By the way, (for Gumby's benefit): A2 sucks.

That other dealership is owned by the same guy that owns Ann Arbor Toyota. In fact, it's the same place. He did "restore" three 40s to use as plow trucks/advertisements. He was getting people to stop and check them out and then hitting them with $20000 price tags and pointing them toward Tacos.

I've heard good things about JAP. Main street motors as well.

Ann Arbor is the shiznit.

I broke my 80 in at the mounds. :D

Thanks a lot A2 is not far from me at all. I used to go ride my dirt bike at the MOUNDS when I didn't feel like heading north to state trails. I have a slight vibration at higher speeds, Ive read a bunch of posts involving various possibilities, I'm gonna start by having the tires rotated and balanced. I was surprised that no one suggested that in any of the posts I read. May try to give it a tune up this weekend.
