I am slammed with work, but my 16 LC need a coolant flush, oil change, diffs changes, and transmission drain and fill…..who in atlanta is reasonable and can do the work aka we trust? Thanks

ACC garage are good people. They did a pre trip inspection for me and were all cruiser nerds, including the girl who I made the appointment with. Based on the vehicles they had in their shop they work on all things Land Cruiser.

Thanks. Any other shops I should consider? might just do it myself if ACC is the only option. Thanks.

I’ve used ToyoTechs for years on mine. I prefer them for the basics you’re describing. ACC is good for advanced projects and fabrication.

This is how I have them categorized:
-ToyoTechs: fluids, filters, brakes, suspension, radiator, belts, plugs, pumps
-ACC: bumpers, custom welding, major engine work, restorations

I’ll add ToyoTechs to my list of possibilities. I try to stay out of ITP as much as I can but sometimes you just can’t avoid it.

Spoken like a true OTP’er 😂

I'm taking my new-to-me 2019 LC200 to Toyotechs tomorrow for some baselining. Their quote for changing the spark plugs was the lowest among a half dozen shops I called. Will report back.

I had an excellent experience with ToyoTechs today. They inspected my truck, gave me a full report on the condition of the truck, identifying what needed doing and what could wait. Changed the oil/filter, front diff fluid, and did a transmission flush. Also did the 120k mile spark plug replacement. They didn't recommend any unnecessary services.

According to maintenance records that came with the truck, it had the rear and center diff fluid changed at around 100k. They confirmed that fluid still looked good, and could wait.

I was surprised that the transmission shifted noticeably smoother after the flush. I was also surprised to get 19+ mpg on the drive home, which may be attributable in part to the new spark plugs.

All in all, great experience with ToyoTechs.

Thanks for this shop report, I can add these guys to my list of places I can visit.

If you don’t mind, could you share the cost for the transmission flush? I’m about to do mine and just curious what it would cost at the shop.

The trans flush (using 16 qts of fluid) was right around $400.

I have a 13 lx with 170k miles.

I drove to otm cruisers from Atlanta. I had all four shocks and mounts replaced. Globes replaced as well. They flushed ahc fluid They did an excellent job. There was at least 15 cruisers there that were long term projects. Very knowledgeable and courteous techs.

Interesting. Had not heard of this shop before. Surprised/encouraged to hear they were familiar with AHC - did you have to coach them at all? Curious how much it was all-in (parts, labor) and how long it took? I am at 10 years old, 140k miles and starting to plan for a suspension overhaul.

Over the mountain cruisers (otm cruisers) is in Leeds Alabama which in outside of Birmingham Alabama. Drive time was a little over 2 hours. I found them in the clubhouse section. A mud member from Atlanta had some work done on 60 series. So I called and setup an appointment.

I thought my lx rode well before the suspension work. I was wrong. It is significantly improved. I don’t even off road or tow.

They have worked on several lx suspensions. My coaching was non existent.

You are more then welcome to test drive my lx.

Any recs for paint, scratch and dent repairs? Either mobile or in shop.

Did you ever get this squared away?Heyward Allen Toyota here in Athens actually does amazing work, but I know that's not in your area. Could be worth a call and a quote.

I'm taking my 16 to Peter Merriam in Duluth tomorrow for radiator and other preventative stuff. I'll report back.

I use an independent in Cumming. Poston Motor Co
