I've got the infamous seal leak in my FJ60 where my t-case is flowing oil into my tranny. I am going to rebuild the t-case and the exploded parts diagram I have is for a 62. Is the t-case the same for a 62 or do I need to get a parts diagram for a 60?
The are roughly the same. The shift rail is slightly different, the 62 has a vacuum 4wd shifter and bearings rather than brass bushings on the output gears. The 62 has a couple of extra parts like an o-ring or two and a shim on the input bearing. Otherwise, pretty much the same.
