Any Clue What This Wire Is?

So, in my frustration with the AHC system and it not working after I replaced the rear sensor I started pulling fuses and manually clearing the codes as suggested by @PADDO in an old post and I found this wire just hanging behind the drivers side kick panel where fuse block is. Anyone know where it is supposed to be connected or if it should be?! Is it part of my problem?

Looks aftermarket. Maybe an old alarm? Toyota doesn't use those connector ends.

OK, maybe. It comes out of that white sheathed bundle in the top right of picture.
