I understand the difference between red and green, but pertaining to green only it's my understanding that there is only 2antifreeze factories in the states so isn't all of it pretty much the same or is there additives that make it different. Any input would help. Thanks

Each brand will have their own additives added to the basic product...much like gasoline in that most gas in a given area will come from the same tank farm. But Shell will have their additives put in to their tanks, exxon will add theirs and so on...

Generally speaking it is best to refill with the same coolant you have in the system.
