FAQ section says largest tire on stock setup 285/75R16 which is basically a 32.8"x11"wide.

When it mentions "largest" does this mean width and height? If we go narrower but taller would that also work? What hits first, steering lock to lock which is width or is it a tallness problem. Reason I ask is i want to go 255/85R16 which is 33"x10"wide on stock setup. Thoughts?

edit: stock size is 265/75R16 which is 31.5"x10.5wide or maybe /70 just under 31"

my 285s are over 33 inches tall when new. You will be fine. Search within the 100 section next time adn you will get all you need to know.

Some have gotten away with 295/85/16's, so you should be fine on 255's, but you could still rub at full lock, as there have been various reports on that.

BTW, stock size is 275/70/16.

^ what he said. the 100 is huge, and the wheel wells are huger. Save for the extra $200!

Which 255/85/16s are you planning on installing? I too am on the tall and skinny mode...

It will get some getting used to, but I just got back from overseas and drove some troop carriers and BJ75s with tall and skinny tires. Did extremely well aired down and awesome on mud and sand.

My 295/75/16s looks nice... I am trying to balance function and nice...thanks!

I'd say if you go 255's, you would want to push out the wheel a bit by getting wheels with less backspacing to make it look right and help with rubbing.

Looks pretty good to me!

Also removed the wood grain bs on the console. Looks awesome IMO.
