Another Shady Shop in Phoenix??

Hello everyone, I haven't introduced myself to CSC yet but will soon, I would also like to get involved.

I went to a shop yesterday that I found out about here on MUD, I talked to them, they claimed lots of experience and sounded knowledgeable so I went there. I think others in the Valley are dealing with similar situations trying to find a good shop.

I have never heard of a shop doing "Pro Bono" gasket replacement, and his attitude after the fact is an indication of a problem......

I agree, very weird, unusual!

Having dealt with mechanics for years I have seen some weird stuff!

Some experienced mechanics are prone to what I call "prima donna syndrome". They think that they can perfectly fix anything in less than book time and when something doesn't go right they go postal! So he may not of messed up your truck, it may have just ate his lunch and he was/is having a bad day/month/life, so copped an attitude!

If your not comfortable posting it, PM me his info, I or one of my customers may know him and be able to shed some light. Not to worry, I will be discreet and not mention this incident.
