how many chickens ? we got 4 and a duck, all layin good, we get 4 eggs a day.
Got more news, was in process of ordering new ring and pinion, and arb parts when I got mail. The bill from Emmy's ER visit prior to leaving for Rubithon,
$12,000.00 bucks and the insurance says I owe $7,600 of it so the coarse spline unit is goin in and the other spare caorse spline third is open so it is getting welded and will be the spare. Hard times require desparate measures.
Unless Freshman suprises me with a custom built 70 or 14 I'm runnin poor mans axles for awhile.

John,

Call the insurance co on the bill. They mess them up all the time. A lot of times they say that a procedure isn't covered and it all goes to how the Dr's filled in a box on the invoice. Or they say somethong took longer than the book allows and you are responsible for the added time. The Dr. can right a letter as to why the procedure was required and why it took so long. They can modify the invoice to get stuff covered. Happens all the. Of course in my case Insurance sucks because to keep our monthly bills down we carry high detuctables.

funny how S*** like that happens just when you think everything lines up. Listen to your cruiser angels. There's one on each shoulder:D They say "run the coarse spline and be careful"...I'd run them and build the new one when you can.

We have two chickens now and trying to get another couple. NO roosters as there are plenty in the neighborhood. Chickens are only 12 weeks old and I guess they start laying around 20 weeks.

Yup Don, nice size boxes up on a ledge with pine shavings will help them feel happy and lay well. I am using the crumble as they seem to not like pellets.
You're correct on 20 weeks and if it is hot they may stretch that.

After talking with tech at ARB it appears that I may have had a loose bearing or a bent housing. Both would acount for the oil showing up on the arb discharge valve. 90wt does not make a good hydraulic accuator, which explains why it took 2 or 3 activates for the arb to lock up, it was pushing 90wt thru the line until it cleared , then locked up.
