Another New Owner

Hello everyone from Virginia Beach, VA. I recently purchased a 2000 LC here locally after searching for several months. 156K miles with all maintenance records and everything up to date. I was shocked at how clean this one was compared to others I had looked at previously.


I have been lurking around on the boards here for a while, searching and learning about the truck. Recently found that the rear carpet was wet after a heavy rain storm. A quick search revealed what to look for and how to repair a leaky 3rd brake light. Got that fixed thanks to the forum. Also purchased a set of LED's from Paul and waiting for those to come in to install.

I think I'm ready to make a "What size tires should I buy?" thread. Just kiding. I did order some 18 inch wheels and hope to get the tires on this week.

Here is a pic when I picked up the truck. I have since removed the step boards, pin stripe, and had it detailed. Will post new pictures after the wheels are on. Thanks!

Thanks everyone! definitely love this color. The weather tech mats are great. It came with the rear cargo mat as well, but do they make on that allows the rear seats to be kept in?

It should have cutouts for installing the 3rd row seats.

I've got the rear mat as well. I don't think they sell one with cut outs. We considered making our own holes for it. We don't use the third row that much so we just left the mat as is. When we do put the third row in, they just sit on the mats. Probably not 100% secure, but we haven't had any issues. It was for only driving around town.

Nice! I always liked how the 1C3 had matching bumpers. Makes the truck look more solid. All that is out the window as soon as you go aftermarket bumpers...
