I was just cruising in west TX and then suddently both the front and rear AC stopped. All display light on HVAC are out, but all other electricals were fine, engine wipers, signals etc., I came home knowing it can be a fuse.
Upon my inspection, I noticed the 20 Amp AC fuse was blown and once I pull it out, I found an aliminum foil that was rolled to bridge the contact points in the fuse box! glad nothing got melted!
I owned this truck since 2016 and it was like this for the past 8 years! I then went over all fuses to make sure no more hack job is done and found none!
