I am headed up to wheel The Webb in Abiquiu this saturday. It's a nice rockcrawling trail requiring 35" tires, a locker and a winch. Any and all are welcome to join me. Should be a good time.

Had a great time. Took the easier right had route ended up running the whole trail in an hour. Had time to turn around and run the trail backwards. Definitely makes it a different trail.

pics are great! I do want to do that trail. wrestling season just started for Kian and I was chosen as a coach. I'll be a little busy this winter.

but depending on if/what I get for OT next weekend, I could potentially go then with Beno. don't count on me too heavily though.

Wanna do a repeat this weekend? I wanna do a bit of good wheelin'

Nice pics Leni.

Maybe someone would need a passenger with a camera?:grinpimp:

I'm thinking I could go on Sunday - we have a neighborhood landscaping thing Saturday, but I could take my camera - probly not the 40 with just a 4" lift and 33's though...

Well I talked to my wife and she is all for another run this weekend. I can lead another trip. Sunday would have to be in the afternoon but I could come up any time on Saturday.

Tire size on The Webb isn't as important as body armor. I used my sliders allot on this trail.

Leni--get me your phone number and let's get the logistics going.

I am in for Saturday or Sunday. Whichever is best for folks.

Chime in if you want to go.

...looking at Leni's pics and video....

This trail is the real deal. I forsee body damage in my 80.

:grinpimp: I think I am going to bring my spares.

This is a Bionic kind of trail.

it does look right up my alley. it depends on if I get OT on Friday. if not, I have to put in for Sunday (regular work day on Sat). no guarantee I would even get Sunday. I'll know on Sat.

let's shoot for Sunday. I should get off work at 9am and can run home to be ready for the afternoon, since that's when Leni would be good anyway. Leni you can set the meeting time and place.

Some quick stats:

The Webb is 0.6 miles long. The first time it took me 4 hours because of the route I chose. This last weekend I was able to run the trail up and back down in 2 hours. Experience makes a difference. :D

Here are some youtube vids from this last weekend.

This is the tightest squeeze and biggest chance of body damage:

I can't get up to Abiquiu till 1pm on Sunday (church commitment). The best place to meet in Abiquiu is at the big gas station on the right. It's easy to pull trailers into.

So who all is in?

I'm in for Sunday.

Shawn--ya gotta come and bring Bionic.

I already talked to the wife for the OK. it is Halloween, and I want to be back to take the kids out, but I think we can do that.

Sounds good Shawn. Where do you want to meet and what time? I'm not sure how long it takes to get to Abiquiu and I know you are towing.

If anyone wants to ride along, I have one seat in my rig. I'll also have my fridge, so we can put cold beverages and lunch in there too.

Thanks.

my house about 10:30? I'll have to load up when I get home about 10ish. I figure 2 hrs to get there. anyone know if that is about right?

I will most likely have an open seat or 2 as well.

UPDATE:

Well, I am out. Bummer because this trail looks really like something I want to do.

My "other" job needs me on Sunday so I am out.

Sorry guys.
