Just a quick hello to introduce myself, im Paul, im from Adelaide in South Australia, and i now own a 60 series landcruiser (my second 4x4 if you count the jackaroo i had!).

anyway the beast is my new toy and is currently getting a good going over before i register it! it is a cheap 4x4 but i have plans for it! first is new leaf springs all round with a small 2 inch lift and maybe some 33 inch tyres. maybe down the track ill turf the 2f motor and convert it to something a little more interesting...

would love to hear from others in adelaide especially 60 series owners! i have no idea as to any 4x4 tracks down here as all my previous wheeling in a fourby was in queensland!

nice to meet you all, and be kind to me!

Welcome to Mud! Let me be the first to..:flipoff2: Now that thats out of the way..

Enjoy the 60! Get her running solid mechanically then go for the mods! Get yourself a FSM, search here often and don't be afraid to ask questions! Enjoy the ride!

As good a thread as any for my first post.
I'm in Adelaide also.
As far as good tracks, there's a bloke up on the Murray has converted his land to a 4wd wheel and camp place.
Haven't been there myself yet but a mate has and is taking me next time.
Other than that the flinders ranges is the place.
I have a 84 FJ62. All I've done so far is filters, oil, leads, points and condenser.
