I know this one. I sold it a little over a year ago. The guy had another one he had got out of a junk with the parts mine was missing. Depending how high the reserve is, it might not be a bad deal. I had it for about five years and it sat in my garage never tried to start it so don't know anything about the running gear. The engine number matched the VIN plate engine number. It did have the brass tag stamped 65 attached to the VIN plate making it a 64 or earlier. The only real rust was above the doors. The front seat is out of the other one and still had the ashtray in the back of the seat. The rear bumper was off the other too and needed some work but look original. The light switch is missing  It didn't have a PTO when I got it but the floor was cut out for the lever. It also had a rare early header in it too :D I think there is someone in the CSC club who knows this rig too but not sure.

OK, figured someone knew it.....didn't figure someone here use to own it ;)

per the Ebay ad, he has it for sale local for $5800, so my guess is the reserve is close to that, which is not too far out of line, but not a bargin either.

That sideways gallery photo is just retarded.

I think it's a good project but if the reserve is anywhere for the asking price.....it's to high for something that will require some work.....maybe a lot of work who knows.

Pimp,
This rig belongs to my buddy Mike who had the 67 burn a couple years ago. He bought it from John (Living in the past) After purchasing the 65, that I own now, from the junkyard. I believe that this rigs #'s are in one of my older 45 threads and have been forwarded to George for the registry. The truck is very much there and very clean minus the door headers. Unfortunately I don't have the cash to save this one myself. This rig needs very little investment to get her on the road. Basically, a run through the hydraulics and boil out the tank, throw in an ignition switch and she's a runner. A very nice driveable rig for sure.

Anyone who may be interested, please give Mike a call at the # in his add. Tell him Branden told you to call and I'm sure he'd be happy to walk around the truck and point out any flaw that it might have. Mike is a GOOD guy, one of my closest friends, he's not looking to make a killing on this rig. He's put alot of time and money into getting it to this point.

I checked out that 45lv in Calgary last week and he is down to $8500 can.

It needs a lot more work than this one but not worth anywhere near what he is asking.

What I am seeing in this ebay sale it is 5 X the truck that I saw in Alberta.
