heading out shortly, see you guys about Noon CST. What are we looking for in ways of camping locations/tow rigs so we can find you when we get there?

I guess Roger will be there with the big red international ....I don't know if that the plan or not, but assume so. I will leave my place by around 2:00 CST getting there before dark.

Having never been there I'm gonna wing it....if there are marked spots or whatever to look for let me know. I plan to camp where I can get access to power as per previous posted note about RV spots...etc.

text me at 256-338-460-nine....if needed...

Ok guys, I am going to have to humbly bow out. I have had alot going on both personally and professionally the last week. Hope you guys will forgive me for needing to take a minute to spend some time with my girls and get some things caught up around the house. I thought I'd at least make the meeting later but not looking likely at this point.

I hope you guys have had a great day and I look forward to seeing all of you again soon.

Thanks,

Matthew

Thanks guys!! Great time as usual.

I felt bad for Rocky so figured I'd go ahead and even things up.

Great to see everyone! Matthew no worries, catch u next time, you're re elected! Congrats to andy for pres re-elect and big thanks to roger and todd for kick ass food. Henry, don't know what to say about the gorilla mask, lol

Thanjs Joel. What was the damage on Rocky's rig? Did he get things righted and run on Saturday? Did no one take any pictures?

Rocky's rig didn't wheel on Saurday, it was on his trailer. He would do a better job describing the damage, it was a bit scary how the rig came to roll, also. I had a good time riding passenger (and driving some, too) in Hendogs rig

Rocky handled it way better than I would have. He is a true warrior. We rode together Saturday and had a ball! It was great meeting a bunch of new people. Ted and Henry are special for sure. Thanks again ted for the welding job you did on the chevota!!! Great times and great people.

We had a large time for sure, cardboard man says hi too!! Cory - good to meet ya, we gotta get together and wheel again. Give me a little time to put my junk back together and we'll be back at it.

Rocky's story is an interesting one but short version is he was winching my rig back onto the trail, after done it rolled backwards off the a small hill and went for a little Alabama hay ride all on it's own. We all know it can happen at any time I just felt bad for him 'cause he's only had it a couple months and 'cause he was helping me at the time, wish it hadn't happened at all. Thanks again for the tug Rock!!

I have it back in the garage already stripped down and ready to start beating out dents . Picking up a new rear topper Saturday and windshield should be here Monday . Also should have new wheel and tire Saturday . I am hoping to have it back together for the cove run if not will have to bring back up vehicle .

damn you got a ton of gear oil inside, I had had some but not the amount you have. I was actually watching it pour outta' the transfer cases.

here's mine, I'd say you still got the worse end of the deal. Trying to source a new cab but have other plans if that falls through.

Man you guys had a rough couple days. I am glad everyone is ok.

Got most of the dents beat out / pushed out last night . I'm waiting on the windshield to get here before I finish pushing the roof up anymore . I'll take some after the " hammer " pictures today . I also found a great use for the Harbor freight pipe bender air over hyd. jack . I took it off the bending frame and used it also a porter power , worked great . The B pillar was pushed in tight against the cage and it pushed it right back in place . I do believe it will be ready for the Cove .

That's great news rocky. I hope she is ready for the cove ride. How bad is the gear lube on the inside?
