Front and rear Dissent armor for the win

Got the Prinsu rack mounted up. Turned out solid i think. Really like the low profile.

Couple parking lot pics.

Forgot it was AUD. But still, $1k.

and they are rigid...where you gonna store those things?

I get that but my current situation storage is not an issue.

Also you will have a phat shop soon but those screamed #allandy when at SEMA.

Look forward to seeing with you come up with.

Find a 100 series and make them for it also. My LX has pretty virgin paint.

Started the storage and sleeping system in the 200. Idea is to make it light, easily removable, and modular so i can leave one of the 3rd row seats in the truck.

Used extruded aluminum for the frame, and 1/4” ply laminated with Formica for the panels and drawer face. Top panel is double thickness for strength.

Drawer is 1/2” Baltic birch, and is 36” deep, 16” wide and 9” tall. Same room as both of my drawers had in 100.

Fridge slide and finishing out the sleeping platform are next steps.

Looks great!
Any detail pics on how the plywood attaches to the aluminum? Where did you source the Al?

It’s QuickFrame from 8020.net

The aluminum pieces come plain 1” square tube, or you can get a c channel on one or two sides. Formica covered plywood slides right in.

I used all three flavors of frame for this.

Thanks! I’ve been thinking about making a slide out camp kitchen to go back and forth between the 80 and m416 and this look promising.

Getting closer. Sleeping platform all that’s left.

Once i simplified everything i was carrying, i got everything i used to haul around in the 416 trailer and back of truck into that one drawer and the space on the side of it. Unreal.

Finally got around to dropping a fuse block in the rear of the truck. Put a 40 amp circuit breaker between it and the battery. Mounted the blue sea box to my storage drawer in the rear. Turned out pretty nice I think.

Started the install and the wiring on my 2m radio also and will post that stuff up when I get done.
