Yes, I noticed my two daughters has gained some inches while Death Valley 06and Moab 06's unedited video is still in my hard disk drive.

Ok, two things has happening over the summer.

One, I am almost done with remodeling the garage.

Two, (a bit technical) there is a software converter problem between a High Definition tape and raw AVI on a hard disk drive.

I might be picky but the quality of raw HD video on my hard disk drive is unacceptable to me. For example, some frames were dropped out, some were too pixelized, too much comb effect, so on.

Now I just got a new patch of software converter and it solved all of the issues I am having.

My HD Sony camera is 1080 - 60i (1080 lines and 60 frames per sec in interlaced), I really preferred 1080 - 30p (1080 lines and 30 frames per sec in progressive). But the Interlaced is cheaper and less compute power consuming for handheld video camera but lousy format for editing.

Now this new converter software automattily converted from 60i to 30p in one step process. See this for details: http://www.cineform.com/

So once my garage work is done, I should be on a fast track with editing.

Cheers,
