I am not here to try and sell or convince you to use AMSOIL products but know that many use the products and heard comments on the AMSOIL EAA high flow air filter not being available for FJ Cruiser for a while.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the filter is now once again ONLINE and searchable through the Application Guide.

2007/2008 FJ Cruiser both use EAA238 air filter, EA 057 oil filter, and WIX 24875 cabin filters.

They do not yet have all the information for both 2007 and 2008 merged to be identical but between the two you can find everything you need whether oil, plugs, coolant, brake fluid, etc.

If you already have an account or a dealer then you can order them to be shipped at your convenience. Thanks and good luck and hope to see you on the trail. Hope I am not stepping on anyones toes...not my intent.

AMSOIL PRODUCTS

If you go with the AMSOIL through my link I would recommend you spend the money on a 6 month or 12 month PREFERRED CUSTOMER account. The cost for 6 months is $10 and for 12 is $20. The savings on the air filter alone would nearly cover the cost for 6 months. If you go with oil filter and oil as well, then I would definitely do it as your savings will be much more than the cost for 6 month membership. Plus using the amsoil oil with the amsoil oil filter only requires a 15,000 mile interval for severe use and a 20,000 interval for normal driving conditions. Food for thought.

Thanks for posting this. I have only recently started using their Ea057 Oil Filter (currently) and have been impressed with how the oil looks after 6K miles on it. I've used the the same oil (M1 5W30 T&S) and used a Toyota Oil fIlter, M1-102 Oil Filter and then now this Amsoil filter and it has impressed me (and I am not easily impressed..... I've been working on cars, engines for 35 years). Anyway, I wanted to try their version of this type of filter media for the air filter but the 2 times I have searched their site, they only offered WIX (which is also a very good standard filter). So, thanks for posting this info.

I just switched over last week, my first time with an Amsoil EAA air filter. I must say, the engine seems to be laboring less around town on the roads I normally take. I can tell by the exhaust note. I wasn't expecting that, but I'm not sure if that would be the same case if I used a Toyota replacement air filter or not. The stock filter only had 17,661 miles on it. Pretty darn dirty but not horrible. We'll see, but so far I am pleased.

I've got a commercial account, I don't know how those prices compare to the 'Preferred Customer' or 'Dealer' prices.

I could look when i get home but for example....retail is $36 and PC is $26 for the air filter if I remember correctly...that is good for 100,000 miles or 4 years before replacement.
Commercial must get the same pricing it appears. Good luck and nice chatting.

I have only seen it mounted on diesel vehicles but can check if there is anything shown other than in links below for FJ or late model Toyotas.

here are some links....the dual filter setup is for HVY DTY and Farm apps usually....the bypass setup uses the full flow of our engine filter and they bypasses a portion of oil for removing the finer particles the engine filter misses. Here are some links....but only a few Toyota submitted as examples by customers....was a Nissan truck and a lot of domestics.
