Im no electrical guy, but I would wonder how the electrical system would handle those efans. My truck cant even power the D light on my gauge cluster.
Well one does need to think about the fan draw on the system. It may mean adding another fuse block under the hood etc that needs to be accounted for in the project planning etc.
As far as your issue with the d light... A few of us, me included fixed that by cleaning the ground wire up in the middle rear of the body under where the tire carrier and bumper are.

I acquired a fuse block, extra battery tray, battery harness and management system to have the fans wired to.
