Sorry if this has been posted before, but I did use the search to no avail. My FJ62 visors are terrible looking and I'm wondering if there are any replacement alternatives? Other than buying someone's used visors or a new ones from SOR. Has anyone tried any other Toyota (or any manufacturer) visors for compatibility with an FJ? Ebay has plenty for much less than FJ prices. Might even score a driver and passenger mirror.

Thanks in advance!

I have SOR's Sun Visor Covers. They are pretty nice. Price may be a little high but I don't have to look at nasty visors anymore

i just put in the sor pleather seat covers and was looking at buying the visors too. but they seem to look quite a bit different than stock. can you give me some feedback since you have them?

I found a pair of visors out of a Grand Marquise at pick and pull. It took a little tweaking and the fit still isn't perfect but they do the job.

They definitely add some bulk, and look different. But I like them. You're essentially covering the stock thinner visors with additional material. You do get a pocket up there which I find very handy. I keep car receipts up there. They are very nice quality and I would buy another set if I had another 60/62 in need of covers.

Apparently I don't have any pictures of them. I'll fix that tomorrow!

Crap I forgot. And it's dark now.

Good thing there is always tomorrow haha

Thanks. I saw a pair of Toyota Prism visors on eBay that looked very similar for around $30 for the pair with mirrors. Just wondering if anyone out there has tried other models for a fit. I couldn't get the specs for the Prism off the add to compare to my visors.

I tried some night shots. If these don't get the point across I will be glad to take some tomorrow.

The iPhone sucks at night. During the day I can hardly tell the difference between it and my 10MP point and shoot.

I'll post some pictures of the Marquise visors tomorrow.

Another option is to drop by a couple of the various auto re-upholsters around town. Tell them what you want, they will have an inventory of different materials and colors. You may be able to get yours recovered so they look OEM.

I think lovetoski has a good point.

I didn't drive the 60 today so the pictures I took during the daytime in the garage are just as bad as the ones I took at night haha

good idea. the ones i have are fine, just not cherry is why i was looking at the for replacements. i talked with a local upholstery shop about re-doing the door panels to match the sor pleather seat covers so will ask them about the sun visors.

yep, i've known him for 48 years and he generally does ;)

I checked by a local upholstery shop than has done some work for me before. They wanted $70 each to recover. That seems high to me. Any thoughts?

I think I paid $40 total to have some visors recovered a few years ago on a different vehicle I had.

I'm guessing its a 30min job max... but I furnished the material when I had mine done.
