wow you got the mustard color spot on, looks great!

I love the forklift seats, haha.

Sweet build. Mustard cruisers are always my favorite.

x2 on getting a seat with better back support. The fork lift seats look cool but just aren't safe in a vehicle. my .02

Where did you get the rear wheel arch extensions, they look much better than the ones I imported from Aussie - please advise.

I put a Heystee Parabolic 4" Spring lift in my 1979 40 and the only way I could get the handling to feel half right was with 6 degree Procomp shims in the front, but now its "sweet" :steer:
My rear prop has a slight vibration which only manifests when decellerating from about 120kph but it doesnt stay for long only a few seconds  then it stops. I have thought of putting shims on the rear to decrease the propshaft angle to see if this improves the vibration, but I'm still trying to resolve overheating issues at the moment. :bang::bang::bang:

i do like the forklift seats. How are they for comfort. Also do they give enough support on long drives. My forklift only goes about 8 miles per hour. Hummm, Nice build up. good job.

They're bushwacker flares from ccot. Im not sure how well they fit other cruisers because I kind of extended my fenders to meet them. The PO went nuts with a sawzall so I used the flares as a template for the new fender.

Couldnt say..I tore right into it as soon as I got it so no long trips yet. I think they would be better on a field beater that you jump in and out of but for the road new seats are definitly on my to do list

Wow - what a transformation. Did you paint it yourself?? I love the yellow.

Oh yeah painted it myself got the runs to proove it.:o Itll be hittin the woods soon though hopefully the briar's will sand em out.

Really, really nice work. You should be PROUD!

Happy New Year

After 8months or so I figure its time for an update....

Project #1:

Chased down the bad vibration (the I got to pull over before something snaps kind). After taking it all apart it seemed like the transfer case was bad, so after some advice from the board I got a used combination. Put her all back together and still had the vibe.I thought "great! he sold me a bad one"....proceeded to buy another one. Put the whole combo back together and yup....you guessed it.:bang:

After thinking that it was something else I looked into the differential. I had forgotten I swapped the rear from my other truck and had never drove it after. So I went to work on correcting things. I bought a new third from Justdifferentials with a lock right, two new (dc joint for the rear) driveshafts from t woods, and turned my axle so the shaft pointed at the tcase. Once I got it all back together and my wallet emptied out I swear I was holding my breath when I drove it but to my surprise it drove like a dream.

Project #3

My pinion seal in the front dif had a pretty bad leak. I tried a speedy sleeve but no use. Being that I cant set up gears and I really wanted an air locker I gave justdifferentials another call and a week or so later the big brown truck had it for me. I mounted the compressor upside down but from reading the directions it didnt seem like it mattered. Does it? Also it has a different shape (less ribs) than the third I took out but it bolted in fine. Is it from a different year? I still need to wire it up but the harness kurt at cruiser outfitters sent me looks pretty easy. The last pic isnt a cruiser but my other toy I just picked up soon to be on a trailer behind my 40:)
