I have been selling this stuff for a few years, pretty good I think. It's a english style homemade toffee (almonds in it, then chocolate on top, then crushed almonds on that).

Honestly it's very good and is a great neighbor/co-worker/boss type gift.

Toffee Website (yeah yeah the site is boring and sucks I know, but I've been to busy to make another one)

Oh, almost forgot, all proceeds go to misc Land Cruiser stuff...well maybe not 'all', but hopefully most.. :D

Thanks,
Mark Brodis

Discount? Ha, I should up the price! :flipoff2:

Actually believe it or not, it's not cheap to make, sometimes I do it more as a charity service than a real money-maker, especially with shipping...infact I need to update my page to up the prices some to account for every friggen ingredient is now way more than it was a year ago...argh...

Most people that try it really love it.. :D

Thanks,
Mark

3 lbs. 'cause I'm a fat ass.

If I manage to not eat it all immediately upon arrival, what is the best way to store this? Freezer?

Yeah, freezer works, or a fridge, but honestly you can leave the stuff open on the counter for weeks and it's still good, atleast around here (dry climate here)...great stuff and hard to kill :D

Thanks all for the orders... :D

I thought I'd sample the goods first before making a large order -- hence the 1lb order :D

Hopefully you won't run out of the stuff before I send another order in...

Off Topic -- where's the LX?

Buy more toffee and I'll tell you! :D

Long story...key points are: criminal case, no title, disputed title, fradulent checks, bank offered to free us of the vehicle/situation with no ill-effects, we opted to take them up on that. So I removed all my 4x4 stuff and credit union has the vehicle now (we owed more than it was realistically worth, so it wasn't a horribly stupid decision). A messy situation no doubt, what I'd like to do is get a older one ('93 or so) with lockers and sell my 40 to buy it out-right, no banks involved, etc...but at the moment that means I drive my sweet (ok not that 'sweet') 40. Funny part is I've gotten more Cruiser waves in a week than I did in months with the LX. :D Definetly not a planned situation, but sometimes you don't have alot of choices...and if the worst that happens if I am forced to drive my fully locked, lifted SM420'd FJ40, well I guess I can handle that.. :D

Credit Union will ofcourse sell it at a auction...they claimed that would be 12/16/04, well upon more asking, they admitted they didn't have a title (I chuckled, since that was why they have the vehicle) so they don't know when they'll be able to sell it. Messy, messy, messy...so someone will get a good vehicle...and depending on time and such, maybe I'll buy it back and a substantial discount.. :D We'll see...

Morale of the story, don't buy from someone who doesn't have the title, even if they don't tell you they don't have it, just use your 6th sense to figure it out.. :D

Doug, you should get your toffee tomorrow I think, maybe Wed, I mailed it today.

Later..

DON'T BUY THIS GARBAGE!

In fact, send the rest to me so I can dispose of it properly.
