I saw an all yellow FJC today when I was driving by my local dealer. It looked pretty good. I'll have to stop and get some pictures tomorrow, I didn't have my camera with me today. When I say all yellow, I mean the top was painted yellow. I'll have to stop by and see how much they want for the custom paint. And if anybody in Washington is looking, they had 7 FJCs on the lot at Titas-Will in Tacoma, 3 were blue.
 
i have to say i think my FJ has a little TOO much yellow.. i've been considering blackuout options to help contrast it a little... idk how i'd like a 100% yellow FJc
 
Sorry it took me so long, here are the pictures. It is what they are calling a "Cobo" FJ. It has the yellow leather seat covers front and back and a Cobo emblem on the sides and back as well as on the seats. They want $35K for it! It isn't even loaded. They have the leather options for the seats at $1700 and an extra $3995 for the paint. Seems a bit steep to me... They do have quite a few on the lot right now, 4 blues, on gray, one black, one balck cherry, and this yellow one. I think they were all the premium models, just one blue one that was close to a base model, but they want close to or over $30K MSRP for the rest. I didn’t talk to any sales guys so I don’t know if they are making deals on them yet. There is also the yellow one at the bottom, but I didn't see a sale tag on that one. I think it could belong to one of the employees. It has the ARB bumper, OME lift, and aftermarket wheels and tires. It looks pretty good. Anybody else seen the “Cobo” FJs out there? If you look close you can see the badge on the fender just behind the front tire.

X2 - altho I have the yellow, the yellow roof is too much. I've been adding black and removing silver to achieve a less brite balance...
 
It's a dealer "made up" option... 4K for just the roof to be painted is amazing... $300 at Earl Sheib ;)
 
I agree with you guys, all yellow is a bit much. Besides, the white roof is what makes the new cruisers look like the old FJs. I've got a black one and I don't really like the all black TRD, looks too much like a rav4. I just think it’s funny that the dealer is calling it a “Cobo” FJ. Must be a limited production run of one… Does that make it rare when you try to resell it later?
 
Well, I went by the stealer today and the had done something similar. Black, painted all black - not TRD Edition - plus an OME suspension w/ 1/2" spacers, 18" rims and 285/65/18 BFGs (still had stock size spare under the cover). For this they marked it up $9,999 - called it the Power Edition (Power Toyota). The total sticker was almost $42K!
 
I have seen this FJ Zurn is talking about, it has been at the dealer for awhile. I believe it is actually "Cabo" if I remember right, as in Mexico. The emblem is a tropical theme. They had another "Cabo" that was ALL blue a few months ago as well. Again I very briefly just ran up from the road and checked it out, so I could be wrong.
 
I love my white roof specially during the summer when it's not burning up inside. The white roof besides giving it a nice contrast is also super functional.
