"hell"o t"here". Well I have 1967 40 with a 3 on the tree. I recently brought it back from its weekly wtf is wrong with it mechanic trips and it's not shifting after being driven aka hard to shift after stopping. Mechanic said clutch is good no slip and the master and slave and hydraulic line were replaced and reverse bled off...Any suggestions ideas would be great as long as it doesn't involve a can of gas and a match. oh and the line does run near my headers but it was never an issue before as I routed it the same way it was before

Well I ended up pulling the Master again and adjusting it and then at the slave. The master I bought wasn't adjusted well and I had to screw with the slave rod length as well but it seems to be working ok as of now. But if it isn't the lengths what about your pressure plate was causing trouble?

One of the 3 fingers broke and wasn't touching the throw out barring. And It caused an intermittent problem where i I couldn't down shift and had hard up shifts. And like you I thought it was the master and slave so I got the kit from sor and it's really nice. But didnt solve the problem. My best advice is to try and up grade the clutch to the newer diaphragm style pp. the clutch kit for your 3 finger is about 650 shipped and the diaphragm is about 250 from napa
