HOLY **** THAT BEER'S EXPENSIVE!!!

I got these two (12 ea):

Stopped at Total Wine today and was looking at beers and WOW, you weren't kidding! Thanks again, and it should be good.

Yeah, I stopped at a local vendor and $10 for 48 oz!!!! I picked up a 12-er of Dale's Pale Ale instead at half the price per ounce.

$10 for 48oz is a steal, it is more like $16 for 4 cans here...

Dale's is good stuff too, you should enjoy it if you like Pale Ale.

yeah, I've had Dale's before (uber hoppy), so I thought the rest of that brand would be in line pricewise. I was somewhat disappointed to find the varieties so different in price. They had Old Chub too ($10/6-pk).

Everyone quit being tight, you all sound like Chuck, good beer costs money same as anything else. Especially when they are shipping it 2000 miles and gas costs $4 a gallon.

No complaining here, just saying that I'd gladly take getting a free four pack for every two I buy. I just bought three, a free one would have been nice.

Don't ever lump me with Chuck - that's a new low, even for you. :flipoff2:

I understand you gotta pay to play. That's why I traveled 2000 miles to pay them a visit and say thanks. :D

If I was being tight, I wouldn't have bought it. Either way, "good beer costs money" is not the same as "HOLY **** THAT BEER'S EXPENSIVE!" $12.99/4pk x 3 Gordon and $10.99/6pk x 2 + tax = about $63. That's a lot of money for 24 12oz. cans of beer I don't care where it came from or how good it is.

That s**t IS good, though.

That's why I stick with the good stuff....PBR and Schlitz baby....lets see 64 bucks would buy about 117 PBR's.....damn they're good!

True dat. The funny thing is when I stopped on Friday to load up, it was the first time I've ever seen Gordon sold out on the shelf.

I laughed and figured you bought the store out for OTMT.

Luckily the secret supply in the fridge was still there...

Ha, ha. PBR and Schlitz are OK by me, especially outdoors.

I don't discriminate, bring it on!!!

Yeah, they had plenty in the fridge when I was there but I wasn't going to be able to keep it cold so I decided to take the shelf stock. Beer's never the same when it goes back and forth.
