Alcohol? What alcohol? I didn't see no stinkin' alcohol.

Sounds good, bring it on!

I drank a bunch of microbrews in college and did some brewing myself but kind of got away from it. The OB stuff is WAY better than any of the stuff I used to drink.

Though I will say that a current close second for me right now are the IPAs from Dogfish Head, specifically the 90 minute and 120 minute offerings. Mmmmm, hops...

I'll bring you the Stone IPA with is about like Dogfishhead 90 minute, then I'll bring their Ruination which is ridiculously hoppy I can't even drink a whole bottle by myself its just to much.

This thread has got me thinking about , never a bad thing....
If no one else likes this idea, J-bo, sign me up for one of those OB beers...

I'm on it...I'll bring whatever I can find. I'm always up for trying new brew.

They have a huge selection, you'll be in good hands. Half of the store is liquor, the other half is beer / wine.

I was there on Monday and with my regular OB Gordon purchase I also tried some Yeti Imperial Stout. Good stuff and goes well with Jack Link's Beef Jerky...

I've seen those at Frugal's, I just haven't tried them yet.

Sounds awesome and they'll go well with some burgers and brats for the pre-game tailgate.

Yeah, I worked there while in college. I still get the employee discount.

Whoa. Why didn't you tell me that when I was trying to get down to help with your sliders...

In all seriousness, sorry I missed you guys that Thursday. Let me know if you're up for wrenching again in the future or just grabbing a beer and talking cruisers...

Sounds good don't try it before then, I'll see what else I can find up here there aren't a lot of good beer stores though. :frown:

Another good beer in a can is Fat Tire they started canning earlier this yr so they can distribute farther.

My barleywine homebrew should be good to go around the tailgate as well.

If you need some breweries to try heres a list:
Great Divide which you already briefly touched
Lagunitas makes a lot of awesome beers
Avery
Weyerbacher nothing under 10% alc here
North Coast they make some limited editions each yr that are great
Victory
Three Floyds
New Belgium
Ommegang they only make belgian varieties
Favorite beer ever though is still Dogfishhead Midas Touch

Hi my names Richard and I'm an alcoholic

There's a brewery called TommyKnocker that makes some outstanding beers. Pretty rare around here. I'm also very fond of Leinenkugel's from Wisconsin, Rogue is also outstanding...

Might have to see about getting my growler filled at Blue Ridge Brewing and bringing that with me...:hhmm:

I thought TommyKnocker was just average.
Leinenkugel's was bought by Bud or Miller or someone like 2 yrs ago and has really gone downhill.
Rogue definitely makes some good ones my fav is their Xmas beer.
