Hi,
Does anyone know if you can install the "all auto" power window switches from a newer 100 into a 98 100? If so, do I just need the switches (from all doors)? Are they just plug and play?

Why not just suck it and see... borrow one from a mate or ih8mud member nearby, or even a wrecker's yard that will sell it to you if it works (say).
 
The master switch from our 100 series is NOT one size fits all. I thought mine (2002LC) had broke awhile back and I tried replacing it with another master switch from a different year 100 but it did not fit. I do not remember what year the donor car was but make sure the part #'s match.
 
^ THIS! The auto function is managed by the body ECU. The switch simply has the momentary Auto position to signal the ECU to start the auto-up sequence for that window. Earlier Body ECUs have one Auto channel for the driver's window. Later models have an Auto channel for all four.
