my guess would be corrupted cookies in your browser. Access your browser settings and search "cookies"If I'm posting here why does it keep telling me I still have to reset my password...4 times?
Turns out, when you get 400ish emails requesting email updates, a few get tossed into the spam filters. Cleared the dozen or so that were in there this morning. (5:30a is too early for a Sunday...) Edited my gmail filters and it shouldn't be an issue anymore.Still having issues trying to log back in. Got the message, but never receive the email. Have requested resend several times, and still nothing. Have searched all folders, but no email. Last resort, I created a new acct and came across this thread. Even sent email to woody@ih8mud.com, but no response. Now I can't see any more of this thread as I'm locked out again on this acct.
Thanks Woody. A couple of glitches, but got my PW reset. Appreciate the quick response.Turns out, when you get 400ish emails requesting email updates, a few get tossed into the spam filters. A handful of members have included their passwords when they request email changes....I now know why more secure passwords were needed...
that's how it "supposed" to work....nothing sent until you visit and see the notice. However, that doesn't mean everyone has a current email addy (250+ have updated now) or that your spam/junk filters appropriately let the reset thru. WORSE, some mail providers auto-delete and don't even offer the option to search your folders. As a result, I've resent somewhere around 100 reset emails.I hadn't visited the site in at least a week (was out of town) and just saw the notice now (8/9)...
And received the email about the same time, very soon after seeing the notice. (was half expecting to search for an email from 8/2)
Very interesting way to manage that, probably a lot more effective than just blasting email.
When work mixes with your hobbiesThank you, Woody! As a cybersecurity professional, I can't tell you how much I love this.
