So I had an alignment done a month ago as I noticed excessive wear on the outer half of the front tires and the guys at brakes plus said they were unable to get the PS wheels camber within spec. They said there was not enough room for adjustment because of the lift. I have 2.5" OME and the Slee diff drop, running on 33" BFg. Anyone else have the same problem? Solutions? Or take it to a new shop?

It now requires that I give about 5-10 degrees left steering input to go straight, which I figure cannot be a good or harmless thing. Thanks for the input!

I'm taking mine in today. I'll let you know what they say.

Caster loss is a very common side effect of lifting these. Even with poor caster it should track straight.
To get it to handle right you usually need some rake (the front end must be lower than the rear). If you are level or nose high the handling can get pretty twitchy. Front end handling concerns are pretty well documented around here and there is a lot to learn.

How is your rake front to back?

Does it pull on accel and track ok at steady speeds?

Tire pressures are normal right?

Tire wear is good (not cupped or previously worn unevenly)?

Rake is correct ( don't have measurements) but it is raked properly. The tires are tearing up on the outer edge and are definitely more worn on the outside than the inside.

It didn't pull before I got the alignment done that's the tricky part. But before alignment the tires were tearing themselves apart, thus why I had an alignment done. Thanks for the input.

My shop which has a history of excellent service for me as well as really competent techs told me with my Tbar crank, the truck was barely within spec. They recommended a caster kit. $190 and you can then get it within spec. Not sure that helps but if I go anymore lift on the front, I'm going to need a caster kit.

Thanks for the input. Yeah they mentioned something like that. Does it just allow for more camber input? Is that a Toyota sources part do you know?
Thanks again.

@OP: The new Slee upper control arms may help. My front tires wear fast on the edges too. What tire pressure are you running?

Mine (with stock height) has pulled right for months and no shops can seem to fix the issue.

How many miles do you have on the original steering rack? The rubber bushings give and create a lot of torque steer to the right under acceleration. Does it track straight if you're just coasting in neutral?

Yeah I'm trying to avoid new UCAs due to cost. It requires left turn input no matter the speed, gear, or acceleration. Does torque steer unless I floor it in first on a slight bend in the road. Seems to be something more alignment related but I can hear my pwr steering pump whine when it's cold and I'm turning now ( don't know what that means timeline wise)

I'm driving back to San Diego in December and want to make it this time last time the transfer case lost it's seal leaving me in middle of Utah!

Thanks again!

124k. I was thinking about getting the new poly bushings to see if that will alleviate the symptoms. I've been traveling so much lately, that I just haven't had the time to mess with it. I think it does coast straight, but I'll check later. :steer:

My 100 pulls to pasenger (maily during accel).
I think this is a castor issue with the 2.5" lifts, but can't be certain...
I would really like to have mine track straight.\

Edit: Bang! Just pulled the trigger with Christo on some UCA's.

Dang now i can see a chrysler product pullin but my LC has always tracked perfect. One of the reasons i justify the awesomely terribly fuel mileage.
