Hey guys, quick question
I'm planning on replacing both lower ball joints this weekend. Do I need to do an alignment after that?

Thanks in advance

Probably no because you are not removing or loosening the lower control arm bolts. If the ball joint is 100% identical to what you are removing, then all should set at the original coordinates/positions.

There should be no reason to need an alignment after just ball joints.

Agreed with this.

UNLESS your ball joints are severely worn/clunking and your truck was aligned with them in that condition, you should be fine.

that was my idea also, but googled it and found so many opinions that I rather ask than sorry.
about previous alignment, I don't know, I bought the truck 1.5 years ago and never did an alignment before.
I will replace the AHC with OME lift within the next 3 months, I will align there for sure.
