When I've gotten quotes from Alcan before they were $175 a spring. Unless their prices have gone up, $320 is not a deep discount.

I've had OME... Liked them a lot for ride, but I have never had a truck sit level with them... I'm ordering a 4" front and 5" rear (which ome does not make) from Alcan. It's for a BJ44, but the springs are the same as a 45.

(PS. I had them installed on a 1981 fj40 and 1987 fj60. Both leaned)

how do you go about detirmining the height for the springs. or should i say how does Alcan go about that. why 4 in front and 5 in rear? if you are restoring a truck like i am and want a level stance, say 2-3 inches, how do you go about getting that? what about if you hook up a trailer or thro some gear in the rear, then what happens? just curious how this all works.

Yeah, Alcan makes a good spring......but I'm waiting on the feedback from Matt.......want to see it they will hold up better than the springs he is currntly running.
they qutoed me $200.00 per last week. i am going with OME, unless Matt says they suck after he gets them installed.
