LX 470

Not mine - no affiliation, but saw this on craigslist today. I considered it for myself, but it is not going to work out for my purposes (long story). I haven't seen it in person, but thought folks here might be interested.

I checked the carfax, and it shows a mileage issue in IL, but seller believes that was a clerical issue and the title issue was resolved by Alabama DMV in prior ownership.

Looks super clean and only a couple of hours away from me. Did they send you any more undercarriage pictures? Spending some time in Illinois might be a dealbreaker otherwise will have to drive down and pick it up.

I didnt see or request any additional photos. Just saw the one on the ad of the undercarriage. I was going to give it a close look underneath if I was taking the next step with it. According to the carfax it spent a lot of its life in IL. Seller is responsive by text to the number in the ad.

I saw that one too. Does it (should it) bother anyone that the front shield under the engine is removed? Had a seller in the NE once tell me that he still had it, but removed it so that I could see what was underneath. When I asked for a picture of it, he didn't seem to want to send. When he finally did, I knew why. Crusty with holes.

Looks like based on the carfax it spent around 6 years in IL. Here are the additional pics that were sent. Doesn't look like a definite deal breaker to be but hard to make out. Trying to decide if its worth the 2 hr drive to go look at it in person.
