This engine was a in truck my friend purchased solely for the body and frame. It started right up by pouring gas into the carb with no smoke and no abnormal noises. Did not drive the 40 though so cant tell how well it ran. Odometer is at 80k so could be 80 or 180 who knows. Surprisingly well intact with all the smog goodies from 1975. Would need resealed at a minimum as the valve cover gasket was all but non existent on back corner of the valve cover. 750 for the entire drivetrain picked up in Huntsville Alabama. This rig did have a later model electronic ignition installed and that comes with the drive train. I separated the trans to mock up the h55f that's going into the frame but everything is there including the flywheel and starter. I the clutch had come apart which is my guess as to why the truck was parked so I did toss the clutch.
