Bought this OEM Toyota winch a while back, fitted it, worked out how to wire it up, used it three times: first two it worked fine, pulling the other truck without a problem, third time, due to the other truck being stuck at the bottom of a creek in a heavier truck than mine, nothing to anchor myself to, it only pulled it a short way, after which it wanted to pull me into the creek.
Came to use it a fourth time, it gave out a bit of line, then stopped, you could hear the solenoids (I think?) clicking when you try to line out or in, but no movement.
Anyone able to give me any info on how to get it working again, as this is all the experience I have with a winch...
