Rosco: It's an Airflow...bought earlier this year.

Rockcrawler: Yeah...probably either a difference in model application or generation. BTW...I also recommend the Safari over the Airflow for reasons I outlined in my first post. If I had to do it all over again...it will definitely be a Safari.

My 80 series Airflow snorkel is NOT held on to the front fender with self-tappers. There are a few double ended bolts that screw onto the back of the snorkel body with captive nuts and then are secured behind the fender with self-locking nuts. The top bracket is held in place with a bolt going into a captive nut in the snorkel and a couple of screws into plastic fittings in the A pilllar.

Same with my 60 series Airflow snorkle. Perhaps later versions were made cheaper by changing securing methods?:hhmm::meh: Anyway, I'm happy with mine:cheers:

Here is my AIRFLOW snorkle as fitted to my BJ73 been on for over 6 years. No problems. Have had to replace the top but that was my fault...

Great pic,is that a factory sunroof?

Thanks for the kind words
I wish it was a factory sunroof, maybe it would not leak then....

i installed a safari snorkel onto mine a while ago, i mate has a cruiser exact same model as mine he has an airflow snorkel on his,
the install is quite different, his has a hose that connects into the factory intake hose on the airbox, whereas the safari install was a bit more involved, had to take airbox out cut into the side of it and attach the adaptor, looks almost like a factory finish,
the template that comes with the safari was bang on aswell, and really made life easy

i'd go safari again :)
