Just curious if anyone has come across this same problem.
Either - 1) I drive in hot weather (85+degrees) and the air/heater would not turn on at all.
or
2) I just let the truck sit out in the parking lot and like today be about 90+ degrees and the air/heater would not work when I go to opereate it.
However, once the temp cools down I can get in the truck and the air/heater will work. Could anyone say what the problem could be? (possible....... fan clutch?)
I know on the 97 that it has an auto shut off if system gets too hot but I don't understand how it could stop it from work even when the truck is just parked outside and not evening running.
I would like to try and solve this problem myself before having to take it into the Stealer. I did do a search but did not come up w/ anything that was similar. I appologize if did not do a good enough job searching. Input would be much appreciated.
Thanks all.
