Air filter tube on 3.4?

On my 2000 4runner with the 3.4, the air tube connector that clamps onto the intake has cracked and I got a new one from toyota.. Seems that on the side there is a hose 'nipple' and on my old one, it is much smaller than the new one I got.

Anyone know of any changes in this or why the difference?

Maybe a mid-generation change? Are you sure they ordered the right year?

You need to let the dealer know your build date, which is found on the door jamb label.
