So today I was very disappointed to notice that the front of my HDJ100 has sagged. The rear is fine, but the front is now effectively in "low" position even though the dash indicator sits at Normal. Any attempts to operate AHC failed, as the Normal indicator stay solid when High or Low keep on blinking depending on which direction I'm trying to go. As luck would have it, my local Land Cruiser guy is on vacation for another week, so I've started doing research in the mean time.

I have found no leaks as of yet and the AHC fluid level seems to be stable where it normally sits at. Tomorrow I will try to find a local garage that could lift the vehicle up and do a visual inspection to see if there's anything obvious.

In the mean time, my current assumption is that something is wrong with front AHC sensors. There are two of them, correct? My LC expect will resurface in a week, so right now I have an opportunity to preemptively order OEM sensors from Amayama which are 40 EUR a pop plus shipping, because they may take a couple of weeks to arrive. Should I pull the trigger or wait for the expert to do the diagnosis?

Any other thoughts are welcome.

An update. I went to a local garage and it became obvious right away that apparently the right front AHC sensor has seized up because of rust and broke off. They will try to possibly unseize it weld it temporarily as it may take a couple of weeks for me to get OEM sensor shipped from Amayama.

These sensors breaking off, is that a common thing?
