My AHC is malfunctioning and I wonder if anyone can help.
Problem symptoms are:
The "OFF" light is flashing
When I press H or L, their lights momentarily flash but no response. ( the odd time, the system tries to respond, but can't ).
It seems to be stuck in the low position, at the minute and the ride is quite stiff.
Also, does anyone know if there is a safety issue here?
The reason I ask is, on a previous occasion, ( when it was parked ), a sensor broke off it's mounting, causing
the rear end to fall really low and the ride became totally solid.
Hate to think of what might have happened if I had been driving at speed.
Footnote: plenty of fluid in the reservoir and no leaks
