AHC Failure

The LX (2005 8k miles) seems to have had an AHC failure. Serious ride issues on the way home last night, but no warning lamps - on the way out this morning ride height seems very low, the rear being the lowest (a good tilt).

I'll ship it over to the dealer once I get back, but since I didnt have any time to check it out, thought I'd ask for ideas. Hardly tech, but I thought there may be a simple answer.

I'm guessing a rear height sensor failure. Either mechanical (a branch hitting/bending the sensor arm) or electrical (eg corrosion inside the sensor or plug).

Could be easy to spot....

Could be a ride height sensor issue. There is a TSB on it.

Interesting TSB - figured a failed sensor - but thought that would throw a code. Cursory inspection showed nothing - at 8k I'd hope there was no corrosion - maybe the valet offroaded it last night, but otherwise trail duties are confined to the 100 and my Series Land Rover, so doubt physical damage. Got a new sensor last year, when the original was corroded.
The new one failed after one year. Even worse than the original. Doesn't hold water. The lid is too thin/soft and/or the o-ring is too thin. Couldn't take one winter with salt and slush. Would like to have seen some better quality as this is not according to Toyotas quality standards.
But what the heck: it's only a material thing.

Ride height sensor - looks like a weak link here, Hate to see that Uhu may be right.
