Ok Team-

2004 LX470 with 160k miles, and little less than 30K on last AHC fluid change. Currently the vehicle is in the N position maybe a bit higher and driving normally with no bounce ect. The "OFF" light is blinking and Techstream shoes C1736 and C1764. I tried clearing the codes without any change. I did hear the relay click but "OFF" light still blinking and car will not go to L or H positions. I checked all fuses and they are good. What should I check first? I have read all other threads with varying degrees of what I should start with. Thanks so much for your help!

Ok, this morning I checked the connectors to the front L and R height sensors and they look good. I located the control valve assembly and that connector is also corrosion free and wires look good. I need to trace each wire and check for a damaged or broken wire as well. I also tired to use the Active test on Tech stream, but each time got an error code and could not perform any of the active tests at all. I can hear a lick in the ECU area each time then throws and error stating that it can not perform active test.

Looks like there could be a problem with either the ECU (or plug to) or the accumulator valve. But, what I've seen is that the AHC is not good at reporting the right trouble codes, so I would first look at the other AHC values, like height sensors and pressures. I.e. the common faults.

Tonight I did some more digging and found a broken wire on the height control accumulator. My bet is this is causing my system to not function correctly. Hard to see in the photos, but the green wire at the connector is fully severed. I will hopefully fix this over the weekend and report back my findings! Thanks for the help thus far and I hope this will be the fix!
